The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering at The University of Kerbala organized a scientific course titled “Laboratory Physical and Chemical Tests for Water,” which lasted for three days in the discussion hall of the Civil Engineering Department. Assist presented the course. Lecturer Fadak Salah Sahab discussed the theoretical and practical aspects of water testing, aiming to determine water quality, ensure public health protection, and comply with environmental standards.
The course focused on the importance of analyzing and evaluating water properties to determine their quality and suitability for various uses, such as drinking, irrigation, and industrial processes, as well as the role of these tests in environmental conservation. The course witnessed notable attendance from faculty members and engineers from the Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments.
